THERAPY GROUP

“Dreams in Wartime”

Analyses of dreams and news about the workings of the unconscious.

On Thursdays

From 8 until 10 PM we analyze two or three dreams, “rewriting” their plots in therapeutic context.

Group work

Any group participant can voice their version of the dream’s interpretation.

Some psychoanalysis

During the work of therapy group, you’ll learn about the workings of the unconscious and the mind. Some facts will change your habitual perception of the world around you.

Dreams in wartime are special

War awakens past traumas and makes them stronger, connecting with the traumas of today. And the unconscious raises it to the surface using dreams and insisting that you pay attention to yourself.

“Dreams in Wartime” therapy group will be useful for you if

you dream vivid and meaningful dreams or your clients do in the course of psychotherapy

Psychoanalysis of dreams hasn’t been a part of your psychology training.

You don’t have a clear understanding how dreams are connected with the traumas of war.

Instead of complicated psychoanalysis lectures you want as much practice as possible, with real examples from dreamers.

Your clients are tired of nightmares; they have a hard time falling asleep and then waking up.

You believe interpretation of dreams to be something “esoteric” and are sure that if you regularly consult the dream book you can easily understand the meaning of a dream.

Your own dreams are also similar to “films”; every night you find yourself in a sort of cinema, watching numerous stories about yourself and others.
